Africans on the 2011 Forbes List of Billionaires
 
Recently Forbes Magazine released its list for 2011 billionaires. Four Africans emerged including Aliko Dangote, a Nigerian business magnet who came 51 on the list with a net fortune worth $13.8 billion. This whooping sum was made from his trade in sugar, flour and cement.
1.     Aliko Dangote, Nigeria $13.8 billion Business #51 (world)

2.    Nicky Openheimer South Africa $7 billion Inherited #136 (world)

3.    Johann Rupert South Africa $4.8 billion Business #219 (world)

4.    Mike Adenuga Nigeria $2 billion Business #595 (world)


It is worth knowing that the
1.     U.S. still dominates with 413 billionaires,
2.    Asia second with 332, 115 of which are Chinese.
3.    Europe has 300 billionaires and
4.    Middle East/Africa has 89.
*      New comers on the list include Mark Zuckerberg’s, Facebook developer and three of his co-founders.
